Nationwide- Kids Say the Darndest Things is looking for kids aged 4-11

We are looking for kids aged 4 to 11 years old who are fun, funny, opinionated, talkative, passionate and inquisitive. We want to meet collectors, experts, and kids with special talents. We’ll be featuring kids that have strong opinions or feelings about a given topic. We need funny kids who are not professional actors but just being themselves.

APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN

APPLICATIONS NEED TO BE FILLED OUT COMPLETELY AND INCLUDE:

• Completed Casting Application and signed Casting Release

• A recent photo of your child taken by you.

• The link to your 2 minute video submission (if applicable) shot by you. 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Your child must be at least 4 years old as of May 1, 2019 and a legal U.S. resident. 

• Neither your child nor any of his/her immediate family members or household members (whether or not related) currently may currently be, or have been within the past three (3) months, an employee, director or officer of: (i) Eye Productions, Inc. (“Producer”), its licensees, assigns, parents, or affiliated or subsidiary companies, or any person or entity involved in the development, production, distribution or other exploitation of the program currently entitled “Kids Say the Darndest Things” (the “Program”) or any variation thereof; (ii) American Broadcasting Companies, Inc. (“Network”), any television station owned or operated by the Network, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates or related entities; (iii) any known, major sponsor of the Program or its advertising agency; or (iv) any person or entity supplying services or prizes to the Program.

• All eligibility determinations shall be made by Producer in its sole discretion.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• We are taping in the New York and Los Angeles areas. If your child is selected for the show, you and your child may be required to travel to: 

  • Los Angeles in July 2019*. 

  • New York in mid to late August 2019*.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

AUDITIONS:

We will be holding various in-person auditions across the country. If you do not live in or around any of our casting cities (like Southern California, Las Vegas or New York City) you are more than welcome to submit an online application on behalf of your child with a video that should not exceed 2 minutes.
