NYC-Steven Spielberg's "West Side Story" is Now Casting Extras
Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story” is now casting background actors to work on the upcoming feature film. Casting directors are looking for New York City locals to appear as extras in the upcoming Fox Pictures feature film. Filming will shoot between June through September in NYC. Costume fittings will start in May and continue throughout filming. Producers are hiring actors for the following roles:
Seeking people to play New York City types – men, women, and children, all ethnicities and all types with a 1950s period look.
Specifically seeking Latino men and women (18 to 30s age range) for Puerto Rican neighborhood scenes
The open call will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019
SAG AFTRA: 10 AM to 11 AM
Nonunion: 1 PM to 4 PM
